Visit to the National Blood Donation Centre

On Friday, 21st April group of Year 10 Biology students had a visit to the National Blood Donation Centre in Gwardamangia. During this visit they had the opportunity to note the procedure one goes through when blood is donated. The students also visited the laboratories which are used to process the blood. The need for blood donation is always a necessity and donating blood is always a good deed of solidarity to save lives. We would like to thank Ms Maria Caruana, our Biology teacher who organised this outing and Dr Melissa Debono for accompanying her.
