Marathon Walk

On Tuesday 12th December we had our annual marathon walk.
It was a sunny day, and our students were eager to leave for the walk. After the assembly they gathered and left with the coaches to Rabat. They walked to Mġarr and stopped on the way at Tas-Salib in Binġemma. Around 50 members of staff and 320 students could appreciate the view of the Maltese countryside while they walked. At around 11:30 they arrived in Mġarr and there they spent time playing football or just sat down resting and eating lunch. At around 13:15 the coaches arrived to take staff and students back to school.
Once back to school the Headmaster thanked all those who helped and thanked the students for their diligent behaviour during the walk. The Headmaster also announced that the sum of €8150 was gathered for this year’s marathon walk. We thank God for this generosity and for these memorable experiences.
