Gozo Outing

After the celebration “Mewweġ mewweġ” which was held last May those students involved in the play were treated to an enjoyable day at Għajnsielem, Gozo.  At 730 they left school to Ċirkewwa to catch the Gozo ferry.  They walked till the beach of Xatt l-Aħmar were they spent time swimming and diving.  Afterwards they set off to Dar Lourdes for lunch and a swim in the pool. They had a lovely time singing some of the Maltese songs they learnt for the May Celebration.  Later they went to the Għajnsielem Museum to play football and other games.  Before leaving to catch the 630 ferry to Malta they ended this lovely day with a spiritual thought.

We would like to thank Mr Aloisio for organising this day and the other teachers who helped him, especially Mr Miguel Formosa who directed the play in May.  It was not an easy task to manage 52 students!  We would like to thank these students who took part in the play and those who formed part of the band.
