Welcoming a New School Year: Staff Orientation and Preparations

On September 18th and 19th, all academic staff returned for the start of a new school year. On Thursday, all staff members had the opportunity to attend Mass together, and we also heard an address from the Superior General to the school community. The Headmaster addressed the staff, discussing the priorities for the year and introducing the new staff members. The Deputy Heads of the school spoke about policies and other important points related to the new academic year.
On Friday, final preparations continued to ensure that the school could open its doors to students on Monday. In the morning, the academic staff gathered for several meetings. During one of these meetings, Mr. Ian Borg, Ms. Giorgiana Mallia, and Ms. Christine Falzon Jones shared their experiences in Finland as part of the Erasmus+ project. Towards the end of the day, the staff participated in team-building activities in the school gym. Following that, those who wished to join went for a meal at an establishment in Valletta.
