On Thursday, 16th March six students who take Prince’s Trust lessons at our school were invited together with their teachers to give a helping hand at the Soup Kitchen run by the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscan). There they helped prepare meals for homeless people and carried out other duties like cleaning. They also had the opportunity to talk with those who came to eat and sadly realised how many people in Malta need care, not only for basic needs but also because they lack company and opening up with others. It was indeed an emotional experience which helped our students appreciate the daily blessings we live with every day. We would like to thank Mr Luke Borg and Ms Laura Cachia who offered this opportunity to our students.
